Standard or Professional?
Project Professional adds resource management and collaboration with Project Online and Teams to the scheduling tools in Project Standard. Visio Professional adds data-linked diagrams and extended shape sets for IT and engineering to Visio Standard.
Cloud plans: which do you need?
Planner Plan 1 adds timelines, sprints and dependencies to Planner. Project Plan 3 adds the Project desktop app and portfolio tools. Visio Plan 1 is Visio in the browser, and Visio Plan 2 adds the full Visio desktop app.

Do Project and Visio 2024 work on Mac?
No. The Project and Visio desktop apps are Windows only. Visio Plan 1 and Plan 2 include Visio for the web, which works in any browser.
