Exchange Online Plan 1 or Plan 2?
Plan 1 gives a 50 GB mailbox and suits most users. Plan 2 adds a 100 GB mailbox, an auto-expanding archive, legal hold and data loss prevention for compliance needs.
Teams add-ons
Teams Premium adds intelligent meeting recap and advanced protection, Teams Phone turns Teams into a business phone system, and Teams Rooms Pro licenses meeting room devices.

Teams Essentials or a Microsoft 365 plan?
Teams Essentials covers meetings of up to 30 hours with 300 participants, chat and 10 GB of storage per user, without email. If you also need business email and the Office apps, Microsoft 365 Business Basic or Standard is usually better value.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Microsoft 365 plan for Teams Phone?
Yes. Teams Phone Standard is an add-on to a plan that includes Teams, and you also need a Calling Plan, Operator Connect or Direct Routing for phone numbers.
Can I use Exchange Online with my own domain?
Yes. Exchange Online plans use your own domain, and we can connect it and migrate existing mailboxes.
