Copilot Business or Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Both add Copilot to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. Copilot Business is for organizations with up to 300 users on a Microsoft 365 Business plan and costs less. Microsoft 365 Copilot has no user limit and works with enterprise plans.

Defender for Business adds next-generation antivirus, endpoint detection and response, and automated investigation to Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices. It is included in Microsoft 365 Business Premium, so buy it standalone only for Business Basic or Standard users.

Does Copilot use my data to train AI models?
No. Microsoft 365 Copilot works within your Microsoft 365 security and compliance boundary, and your prompts and data are not used to train the underlying models.
Can I buy Copilot for some users only?
Yes. Copilot is licensed per user, so you can start with a pilot group and add more users later.
