Windows Server 2025 User CAL from Alkimio. A Client Access License, or CAL, gives a user the right to access Windows Server. Each person who connects to your Windows Server 2025 servers needs a CAL, in addition to the server license itself.
This is a User CAL. It covers one named person, who can access the server from any number of devices, such as a desktop, laptop and phone. User CALs suit businesses where staff use several devices. If many people share one device, Device CALs may be more cost effective, and we can help you compare.
Windows Server 2025 CALs can be used to access Windows Server 2025 and earlier versions. CALs do not include Remote Desktop Services access, which needs a separate RDS CAL. Please tell us how your server is used and we will confirm the right mix of licenses.
